kelvin mccanix Orisha of Love #yellow
Orishas are spirit gods of the West-African Yoruba faith. OSHUN, the Orisha of Love, Beauty and Wealth, became a prostitute to feed her children. When the other Orishas learned of this, they removed the children from her home. Insane from grief, OSHUN wore the same white dress every day turning it yellow. Offerings to Her include sweet things such as honey, mead, white wine, oranges, sweets, or pumpkins, as well as perfume.
