Do you remember the eastcoast earthquake in the US? Well, a couple of nites later, strage things began to happen with a certain home stereo cassette player. I was couchsurfing in the DC area preparing for an exhibition. My host, Tabatha, had a stereo system she recently bought at an estate sale. Two nights after the earthquake, the stereo starts to play old time gospel music on its own. This was about 3 in the morning. Droggy, we figure out how to shut it off. And a couple of days later, the same thing. Only this time my host freaked out because the power button was off. We checked. All that remains from that old stereo is the speaker pictured above.
